Project Lead

Project Lead - £39 p/h Ltd - 12 Months - Barrow - SC Clear

Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Project Lead to work with our prestigious client on a 12 months contract at their site in Barrow.

As part of the Mid Major Area Integration Team (MAIT), the Materials Project Leader reports to the Senior Project Manager - Build Integration. They are responsible for understanding the build schedule and when material is to be consumed. Working closely with the materials management team and Supply Chain, the Materials Project Leader is required to set priorities and ensure material is ordered in support of build need. You will need to be SC Cleared for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

Generate Key Build Activity material reports

Liaise with Major Area Teams to determine build demand

Set priorities for Dreadnought Materials Management Team focus

Coordinate and manage issue resolution and escalation

Ensure mitigation actions are available and actively managed for late or 'at risk' deliveries

Manage a team of Materials Project Engineers

Successful Candidate

Similar Project experience within Defence, Engineering

To be considered for this role, I am looking for someone who holds a Qualification/Certificate within Project Management, and possess LCM awareness.

Knowledge of submarines business processes is also advantageous.

Ideally SC Cleared but not essential
