Regional Trade Compliance Manager: A Leading global security company is currently seeking a Regional Trade Compliance Manager with extensive experience of UK Export Law.

Regional Trade Compliance Manager Responsibilities:
• Provide daily operational/transactional support to the CE and corporate staff, to include license submissions and administration of various export/import control processes.
• Ensure the company operates under the most current export/import laws and regulations in Europe.
• Identify potential business impact of export/import requirements and develop effective solutions to facilitate business objectives in Europe.
• Engage and partner with European government regulators and industry partners.
• Enhance the company's export/import community of practice in Europe through regular education, communication, and initiatives.
• Develop and integrate regional and global export/import tools, templates, and training.
• Conduct and/or coordinate export/import assessments and project planning in Europe.
• Support external/government audits.
• Execute annual projects and initiatives to enhance export/import compliance, infrastructure and execute regional business strategy.
• Develop and implement annual export/import training plan for the company's corporate sites in the UK.
• Assist in supporting global trade security programs.
• Ensure global trade compliance continues to be integrated throughout the enterprise.
• Some travel involved to other sites around the UK, Europe and in the US.

Regional Trade Compliance Manager Requirements:
• Extensive experience in export/import operations
• Strong working knowledge of UK export/ import laws and regulations
• Knowledge of EU import/export laws, trade and regulations
• Familiar with other European export/import laws and regulations as well as U.S. ITAR and/or EAR controls
• Experience with the Aerospace and/or Defence industries
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities and programs

Desirable:
• Familiar with other European export/import laws and regulations as well as U.S. ITAR and/or EAR controls
• Exposure and knowledge of US import/export laws, trade and regulations.
• Leadership and Mentoring exposure

The successful candidate will be required to achieve full security clearance for this role!!!!
