World class Defence Organisation based in Lostock is currently looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Controller.
Candidates must come from a strong Defence or Aerospace background.
Please Note: you must be eligible for SC (Secret Level) Security Clearance.
The contract is initially for 6 months (ongoing after).
The contract hourly rate on offer is £13 per hour.
Manufacturing Controller Job Description:
• Packing including the use of hand tools
• Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control
• Receiving and issuing of tooling
• Record keeping
• Kitting activity
• Loading and unloading of Lorries
Desirable skills:
• Fork lift truck licence
• Knowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systems
• PC skills
Essential Skills:
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Follow instructions
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns
• No colour blindness
• Attention to detail
• Work on their own with minimal supervision
